What an amazing experience. From the check-in with Michelle, who was friendly and efficient and made us feel so welcome, to the excellent restaurant staff and excellent quality food, to the cat that adopted us and spent the night cuddled up with us, it was an all round great experience. The only down side was that I only stayed for 1 night. Will definitely return.
So lovely and charming hotel with its’ long history and looks! Great restaurant, views etc. Nearby beach is beautiful and ideal for kite surfers, but very shallow, so not for swimmers. Nice cafe at the beach.
Another wonderful experience here. Situated in central Langebaan with lagoon views. A great breakfast is included with your stay, an exceptionally kind hostess. We stayed in room 8 for 2 days. A big bathroom with a bath and shower. Kettle, small fridge in your room. Also an ironing board and iron which I always desperately need. . Very spacious on the ground floor and pet friendly. A R500 breakage fee is charged as well as a pet charge. We next stayed in room 1. This room Includes a wood fired tub. A shower only in the bathroom. Spacious with a leather couch and overlooks the pool and the Lagoon. Stunning views we had. Worthwhile to make the trip.
We spent an amazing week end at this peaceful hotel. Our upstairs room had wonderful lagoon views. The complimentary afternoon scones and tea served at 4pm are a real treat. The hotel has an old world charm but is beautifully maintained. Breakfast is made to order and was delicious and fantastic quality. Staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again
We booked the 'romantic' room with hot tub. Not exactly what we expected from the pics on the website. The room is rather shabby particularly the bath room is in poor condition with a tiny sink with obviously no effort to make it a bit presentable. The ventilation sounds like you are in an underground tunnel and there is the smell of a poorly functioning drainage. The hotel in general is charming with a lovely view over the bay, it offers a good breakfast and the staff is very friendly.
Such a lovely experience! The hotel is full of character, in a location with stunning views & parking for guests right outside the front door. Our room was beautifully clean, well equiped & spacious, the food in the restaurant was delicious & the staff could not have been more lovely! Thoroughly recommended.
I was spoilt rotten by my team for bosses day with a voucher at the hotel spa .... booked 5 treatments for the day and boy oh boy it was really delightful. I spent over 4 plus hours being pampered and left feeling uplifted, spoilt, calm, rested. Professional and brilliant treatments, Thank you so much!
